✎ Biography
Professor Adel M. Alimi (HDR, PhD, Eng.) is a Professor at the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), University of Sfax, Tunisia. He is the Founder and Past-Director of the REGIM Lab. (REsearch Groups in Intelligent Machines), a leading research unit dedicated to intelligent machines and smart-city innovation.
He serves as Chair of the Sfax Smart City Living Lab (SSCLL) and is a Past Chair of the IEEE Africa Council, as well as an IEEE Senior Member. His research spans intelligent systems, machine learning, computational intelligence and their applications to smart cities and smart healthcare.
Prof. Alimi has supervised numerous PhD theses and authored an extensive body of peer-reviewed journal and conference publications. He holds verified academic profiles on ORCID, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar and DBLP, reflecting his sustained international contribution to the field.
